FLACL Endowment Fund is a separate and permanent fund set up in 1993 to provide long-term financial support to both Mesa Public Library and the White Rock Branch Library. It is distinct from the Friends General Fund, which supports annual activities, including Bookstore expenses, outreach, and special projects. Funds for the Endowment have come from a variety of activities, including an annual approved $2000 from the General Fund, and through individual, memorial, and corporate gifts and bequests. Gifts and bequests are recognized by inclusion in the Catalog of Giving, which was underwritten by Los Alamos National Bank, and unveiled in November, 1997, on the upper level of the Mesa Public Library. Every gift of $500 (or when monies add up to $500) gives the donor the right to have a plaque engraved as the donor requests (with some constraints involving good taste). A gift of $500 after the initial $500 allows enhancement of the plaque with the addition of a turquoise cabochon (up to six).
Your contributions in the form of one-time gifts, monthly pledges, memorials or bequests (through your will) can be earmarked in either of the following ways:
